After studying business management at the University of Münster, Thomas Pasquale (born 1966) began his professional career in 1991 as a management consultant for A.T. Kearney in Düsseldorf and Chicago. In 1994, he became ‚Director of Finance' for the Hüls Troisdorf AG and supervised the company during its strategic reorganization within the Ruhrkohle AG. He founded GAMBIT Consulting GmbH in 1995 and has headed the company ever since as its managing partner.

Thomas Pasquale advises the top executives of leading medium-sized corporations and companies on strategic IT issues and has managed a number of major international projects at operational level.

Michael Ratte (born 1969) studied law at the University of Bayreuth and began his professional career in 1996 at auditing company Warth & Klein Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft mbH in Düsseldorf, specialized in corporate and commercial law and in transaction- and M&A advisory.

Mr. Ratte joined GAMBIT in 2001 as the responsible for all tax and legal affairs and the administrative management of the business. Since 2015 Michael Ratte is directing finance, controlling, tax, legal, HCM and IT.

Dr. Robert J. Bartels, born 1956, studied Mechanical Engineering in Karlsruhe. He began his career at Krupp AG as mechanical designer. Until today, he held COO, CSO and CEO positions at ThyssenKrupp, KBE, Novoferm, SPX Balcke-Dürr and M. J. Maillis. Specific focus were initiating strategic repo-sitioning, process optimization and driving growth.Since 2000 he has been customer of GAMBIT in several international SAP roll-outs and business transformation projects.

In 2016, he became Managing Partner for GAMBIT Germany, responsible for Strategical Sales, Marketing and Business Innovation.

Roland Frei (born 1965) studied business informatics at the University of Zurich and started his career as a project leader for International Finance at Credit Suisse, Lucerne. In 1995 Roland Frei became a Management Consultant at Metro International Management AG and joined an international roll out project into 35 countries. In 1999 Roland Frei founded his own consulting company “Roland Frei Informatik”. Since May 2014 Roland Frei is responsible for the Swiss subsidiary of GAMBIT as a Managing Partner.

Rolf Mehling (born 1953) studied communications engineering at the University for Applied Sciences in Köln. He began his professional career in 1979 at the Dynamit Nobel AG in Troisdorf in the field of SAP application development. He then joined the Hüls Troisdorf AG, where he headed the group's global SAP Competence Centre and its team before Co-founding GAMBIT Consulting GmbH in 1995.

After 20 years as a managing partner of the company, Mr. Mehling changed position to the Honorary Committee as its Chairman. For GAMBIT Rolf Mehling is still available as a consultant in Business & Information Technology and SAP Development.
